Let It Sit: The Right Way to Shampoo for a Deeper Clean

Washing your hair might seem like the simplest part of your routine—lather, rinse, repeat.

But did you know that letting your shampoo sit on your scalp for just a minute before rinsing can make a big difference?

When you apply shampoo, it immediately starts working to break down oil, dirt, and product buildup.

However, if you rinse it out too quickly, it might not have enough time to do its job effectively.

By letting it sit for about a minute, you’re giving the cleansing agents time to work, leading to a deeper, more thorough clean.

Here's how to do it right:

After applying shampoo, gently massage it into your scalp for 30 seconds to lift dirt and buildup.

Then, let it sit for another 30 seconds while you continue your shower routine.

Use this time to wash your face or shave—multitasking at its finest!

Once the minute is up, rinse thoroughly, making sure no residue is left behind.

This small change can help your hair feel fresher, lighter, and cleaner for longer.

Give it a try and see the difference!
